Office Policies

Below you can review my office policies in brief. You’ll get a chance to review and sign these documents with your intake paperwork.

Payment

You will be asked to provide your credit card information in your secure patient portal. Unless a special request is made, you will be charged the agreed upon fee to the card on file by the end of the day on which your visit was conducted and an invoice will be sent to you by email. I’m happy to accommodate payments by check or cash at your request.

Insurance Billing

I will not directly bill your insurance company for our work together. The level of depth and complexity we’ll reach in our 2-hour visits simply cannot be adequately compensated through the insurance model. I set my rates with care and integrity, however I understand you may need to use your existing benefits. I will provide you a superbill after each visit that can be submitted to your insurance company to reimburse you the cost of my services.

Cancellation

Cancellations and re-scheduled session will be subject to a full charge if not requested within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time as to provide timely service to other patients scheduled that day.
